OLAP cubes are an excellent source for data and training data for AI.
AI doesn't really replace OLAP cubes or data warehouses.
I've been waiting for an AI system for many years that can be turned loose on both that would automatically look for connections and correlations by itself...
But, alas! The autonomous AI tech is not there yet.
You have to TRAIN the AI on the data specifically that you want to see if connected or correlated...
To be able to autonomously scan/search data and come up with data connections, correlations, and conclusions would be...Wonderful!
And the company that can do that will make a huge amount of sales and money!
